Dr Zhang, Fu 張富
Dr. Fu Zhang received his B.E. degree in Automation from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, Anhui, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Controls from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2015. Short after the graduation, he became a Research Assistant Professor in the Robotics Institute of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and subsequently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) (starting from Aug 2018). His research interests are general mechatronic systems and aerial robotics, with focus on UAV design, navigation and control, robotics calibration, robust and nonlinear control, advanced controls theory and deep reinforcement learning.
