Biography

Dr. Wang joined the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2011. He received a Ph.D. in accounting from Duke University in 2006. He has the teaching experience of several undergraduate courses, including Introductory Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I, and Intermediate Accounting II. He also teaches (as one of co-instructors) the PhD course of Research Methods for Business Studies.
 
Dr. Wang has research interests in the fields of executive compensation, financial disclosure quality, corporate governance and insider trading. His papers were published on the top academic journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies., Durham NC, USA
