Professor Wang, Ning 王宁
Dr. Wang Ning received his PhD degree in Pharmacology of Chinese Medicine in The University of Hong Kong and finished his post-doctoral training and Research Assistant Professorship in the same University. Dr. Wang is committed to the full use of modern technologies and multidisciplinary platforms to conduct innovative study of Chinese Medicine, and has been actively engaged in the basic science and translational research on the prevention and treatment of human gastrointestinal cancers using Chinese herbal medicine.
Dr. Wang Ning, received his bachelor degree in biochemistry in Sun Yat-Sen University (2006, China), Mphil degree in pharmaceutical science in Sun Yat-Sen University (2008, China) and PhD degree in pharmacology in the University of Hong Kong (2012, Hong Kong) and continued his post-doctoral training in the same University. He is now Research Assistant Professor in School of Chinese Medicine. Since 2006, Dr. Wang has published more than 70 international peer-reviewed papers and over 50 abstracts on conference proceedings in the field of pharmacology of natural products and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He serves as journal reviewer for Clinical Epidemiology, Oncotarget, International Journal of Nanomedicine, BMC complementary and alternative medicine, and evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine (eCAM). He is the member of European Association of Cancer Research. Dr. Wang has expertise in the translational study of new patented Chinese Medicine. He served as a leading member for pre-clinical study of investigational drug under category 5 of novel patented drug in China, one of which has been marketed and the other with clinical trial license obtained. Dr. Wang received grant support for his research from Health and Medical Research Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China and the University of Hong Kong.
