Book Chapter: Disruptions in interorganizational relationships: A taxonomy and a research agenda

TitleDisruptions in interorganizational relationships: A taxonomy and a research agenda
Authors
Issue Date9-Jan-2024
Abstract

Interorganizational relationships play a vital role in sustaining a firm’s competitive advantage, but these relationships must continuously adapt to evolving conditions and unexpected circumstances. In this chapter, we synthesize a fragmented literature about interorganizational disruptions, which we organize around integrative taxonomy to help assess received wisdom and point to directions for future research. We detail a research agenda to push the frontiers of the literature about processes value creation, managing internal and external stakeholders and critical contingencies.
