Conference Paper: When Mine Becomes Ours: Caregiving and the Effects of Choices Made for Others on Subsequent Choices for the Self

TitleWhen Mine Becomes Ours: Caregiving and the Effects of Choices Made for Others on Subsequent Choices for the Self
Authors
Issue Date20-Oct-2022
Abstract

Four studies demonstrate that parents choose less-preferred unhealthy foods for themselves as a back-up option for their child to address a parental concern the child won’t eat healthy food chosen for them.
