Abstract | Being aware that the battery life of optical see-through HMDs is critical, we propose an energy-efficient rendering scheme for laserbeam-scanning-typed optical see-through HMDs with color contrast enhancement. Experiments show that our design improves the distinction between virtual objects and the surrounding background and noticeably saves display power consumption. |
