AbstractNCD is the leading cause of premature morbidity and a major barrier to healthy aging. COVID 19 pandemic is likely to escalate the global NCD burdens. Diabetes is one of the top four largest contributors of NCD-related morbidity and mortality. It is associated with significant morbidity which place an enormous burden on individuals, society and the healthcare system. This presentation will report the effects of community-based initiatives on reducing obesity and diabetes risks in adults with pre-diabetes.
