AbstractLanguage is not something to be learned the way a person learns anything else (e.g., play tennis, drive a car, playing chess, etc.). Language is a complex, abstract, and implicit system. It is complex because it means acquiring a number of elements (lexicon, phonology, morphology, syntax, etc.). It is abstract as language representation bears no resemblance to rules found in language textbooks.
