Abstract | Cognitive diagnosis models (CDMs) aim to provide diagnostic and actionable feedback on a set of attributes. The study proposes the accordion procedure (AP) as a solution to the problem in situations where it is reasonable to assume that the attributes can be partitioned into nonoverlapping subsets. AP focuses on diagnosing one set of attributes at a time while collapsing attributes from other domains as coarser attributes. |
