AbstractPsychosis is best described as a collection of symptoms that emerge from an interaction between genetic vulnerability and an array of biological and psychosocial factors. The shift from a pessimistic outlook on the prognosis of psychosis to an optimistic one has inspired international efforts for the development of early intervention services. The service identifies individuals who are highly likely to develop a psychotic disorder with the ultrahigh risk criteria. The strength-based program is carried out mainly by NGOs to address issues of social relationship, self-compassion, and employment.
