Abstract | This study explored SLPs’ knowledge, practices, and perceptions of services for children from L2/ESL backgrounds. Two comparable web-based surveys were completed by 144 SLPs in Hong Kong, and 185 SLPs in Australia. Similarities and differences in practice were identified. Cultural attitudes of the community and advice from others were reported to influence family engagement in SLP services. |
