AbstractWe propose a real-time optical spectro-temporal analyzer (ROSTA), which simultaneously provides single-shot temporal and spectral information for multiple time-scale radiance. By using ROSTA, new complex dynamic phenomena during the birth of passive mode-locking is observed.
