AbstractThis paper aims to report on the evidences on the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) for preschool education in many countries around the world during the recent decade. The literature review was done based on journal articles and books published in various countries from 2005 to 2014 to address the review question that reads, “What types of hardware, software and computer technology skills had been used in preschools during the recent decade?” The main objective of the review study is to provide useful information for researchers and educators when conducting relevant studies on the use of ICT in preschool education in recent future in view of fast emerging of new technologies. The outcomes of this review found 25 types of hardware, software and computer technology skills that had been used in preschools of various countries during the recent decade. Strength and limitation of this review are discussed; future relevant studies have also been suggested.
