AbstractThis session has four aims: 1) summarizing the extent of being cyberbullied among 482 fifth and sixth graders in Hong Kong, 2) examining the perception and understanding of cyberbullying with a sample of 482 Chinese parent-child dyads; 3) predicting the extent of being cyberbullied by children and parents’ perception and understanding of cyberbullying, and 4) providing recommendations on the education, prevention, and prescription of cyberbullying for the elementary children and parents from a cross-cultural perspective.
