AbstractStudents are active actors in learning environments, and their conceptions of learning act as cognitive filters affecting the use of technology in learning environments. This study argues that the learner’s conceptions of learning (COL) are crucial to the understanding of e-learning technology adoption. Results of data analysis indicate causal structural models which are consistent with previous technology acceptance studies, and COL serves as the significant perception anchor for the formation of perceptions of technology acceptance.
