AbstractWith the changing media environment, media literacy education begins to be an emerging field in China. This research is a case study on how media literacy education is implemented in a primary school. It is shown that the implementation is consistent with the national curriculum reform, and with the full support of the school, university teachers are called upon to collaborate with the teachers from the school. They designed the curriculum and taught in different lessons. The results showed the success of implementing media literacy education as an integrated component of different subjects, namely, ethics and life, mathematics, information technology and integrated practical activity.
