AbstractVariable density spiral (VDS) sampling is advantageous for fast imaging, it also has potential in motion correction due to repeated sampling of each interleaf around the k-space center. However, for VDS, the full sampling area of each interleaf may be too small for accurate motion estimation. In this work, the navigation region is defined to cover more than the full sampling area, and we use SPIRiT to further improve navigation region. Results show that our proposed method can significantly remove the artifacts in both simulation and in vivo studies.
