| Abstract | The study aims at conducting Network Analysis on modern Chinese component system. The study firstly sets up a Chinese character bipartite network based on corpus of 3171 characters from 'Hong Kong Chinese Lexical Lists for Primary Learning'. The network will then be transformed to an unipartite network to analyze the system of component of Chinese character. The study can reveal new characteristics of Chinese character and component system as well as develop new research direction of Chinese character studies. |
