AbstractIn order for language policy research to move forward constructively, a different kind of agency that transcends “the structure vs. agency” opposition needs to be theorized. This paper discusses the potentials of a feminist poststructuralist perspective and Bakhtinian dialogism as a starting point for future directions for LP research.
