AbstractRecently, an underground dielectric cylinder is reconstructed by a frequency-domain imaging scheme, which is based on the moment method. A frequency-domain Born iterative method is also used to image an underground target, where desired frequency-domain data is extracted via taking Fourier transform of time-domain scattered field. In this paper, a time-domain distorted Born iterative method is applied to a lossy half-space configuration to image a subsurface object from time-domain scattered fields measured at the surface, and measurement configurations to get better image is investigated.
