The 1998 International Conference on Applications of Photonic Technology (ICAPT), Ottawa, Canada, 29-31 July 1998. In Proceedings of SPIE - The International Society For Optical Engineering, 1998, v. 3491, p. 653-655 How to Cite?
AbstractThis paper describes the development of numerical simulation models of soliton systems using a newly developed Fourier Series Analysis Technique (FSAT) to analyze the non-linear Schrodinger equation of soliton propagation. Generation of sub-picosecond solitons in an active mode-locked fiber ring laser with amplitude and phase modulators and soliton pulse compression mechanisms using dispersion decreasing fiber are investigated.
