AbstractThus use of Petri net in intelligent control has caught the attention of many researchers. Process control has also been found as a good application area of Petri nets. In this paper, a Continuous Fuzzy Petri net approach for real-time process control is described. This approach is based on several key paradigms and technologies: fuzzy control, Petri nets and real-time expert systems. These three areas are combined to produced a powerful tool and new methodology in the area of real-time process control supervision.
