AbstractIn terms of the domain transformation concept, the spline finite strip method is extended to solve the free vibration problems of longitudinal arbitrarily curved box-girder. The method can greatly reduce the computational time when compared with the finite element method. The method will be very useful in practical design especially at the preliminary stage.
