My research primarily revolves around the sharing economy, where I seek to unravel causal links and analyze behavioral patterns in goal-oriented actions. My work currently spans several areas: examining the supply-demand relationship in the sharing economy, understanding how individuals modify their efforts as their goals evolve, and probing into supply-side behavior within this economic model. These investigations have been greatly enhanced by field experiments conducted in collaboration with several Canadian companies.
My educational background is diverse and robust, holding an M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University and a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, and Finance from the University of Toronto. Prior to my doctoral studies, I honed my practical skills as an Analytics Fellow at McKinsey & Company and as an Equity Research Associate at Macquarie Group.
