Objectives
Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a rare genetic disorder at birth and a lifelong condition causing considerable social-economic burden. Cutting-edge therapies are emerging under trial settings. We aim to conduct a health technology assessment (HTA) to understand the clinical efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness of innovative medicines of OI for early health system preparedness of breakthrough therapies for rare diseases. No specific hypothesis will be tested.
