Objectives
We propose to develop a model to estimate the effective reproductive number (Rt) in real-time by integrating the cross-sectional distributions of Ct values. If data are sufficient, we will also compare the distributions of Ct values from vaccinated and unvaccinated infections to estimate the vaccine efficacy in reducing mild or asymptomatic infections and hence transmissibility of COVID-19
