Objectives
The objectives of this research on the topic ‘Systems Analytics for Smart Construction in Hong Kong’ are as follows: • to establish a smart construction demonstrative case for Hong Kong using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in prefabrication and modular construction scenarios in terms of prefab manufacturing, prefab logistics and installation; • to visualize the construction projects by making full use of the IoT captured data through Big Data Analytics; • to investigate the data-driven synchronization in smart construction project from information level and operational level; • to model the entire logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) in smart construction for Hong Kong to optimize the manufacturing, logistics and assembly.
