AbstractWith rigidity model, the wind-induced pressures on gymnasium roof of Daqing petroleum institute are studied in wind tunnel test. Mean pressure coefficient and block shape coefficient on the roof are gained, which can be referred to during wind-resistant design of this structure. Simultaneously, the influence factors of wind loads distribution on the roof including roof shape, wind direction, wind velocity are discussed. The most unfavorable wind direction is determined by analysis of the experimental results on the spreading section of the roof.
