AbstractTwo new species of Heptageniidae (Insecta,Ephemeroptera) are described from Hong Kong, China: one new species, Compsoneuria taipokauensis sp. nov., is based on larval and adult material which were identified as the same species by rearing larvae in the laboratory. This new species represents the first report of the genus Compsoneuria from China. Another new species, Epeorus sagittatus sp. nov., is identified from larval material.
