AbstractAutotransplantation of a premolar is a viable option in the orthodontic treatment of congenitally missing teeth. The ideal timing is when the root has developed to between two thirds and three fourths of the final root length. Autotransplantation of teeth with complete root development is less successful and is often regarded as an experimental procedure. This case report demonstrates successful orthodontic treatment of two such autotransplanted premolars
