| Abstract | The carrier-envelope (CE) phase shift of laser pulses was investigated which evolved through focus induced by geometrical Guoy phase. Full characterization of phase-stabilized few-cycle optical pulses in space and time was involved in the phase shift. The CE phase was observed to show smooth variation over few Rayleigh distances. The results of smooth variation were of critical importance in ultrashort laser pulse applications which included high-harmonic pulse generation and phase-dependent effects. |
