| Abstract | Hair is made of a kind of protein called keratin. Potential causes of hair loss in teenagers include genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, and underlying medical conditions, stressful or just not eating right .In some cases, hair loss can be reversible with proper treatment. Most of time, it will influence the youngster’s confidence in social activities. They usually feel inferior and don’t want to go out to play with friends. Also they prefer to wear a cap most of time even in indoors. However western medicine does not show a significant effect on it. Here through a case report, introduce the methods and curative effects of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of adolescent alopecia. The study was carried out over 10 months with oral intake of Chinese Medicine treatment and external use of Chinese Medicine on whole body on daily basis. The results showed a marked improvement in the hair loss on the patient |
