AbstractAn extension of the Vorbrüggen method of nucleotide synthesis for the synthesis of C-glucopyranosides, as intermediates for C-nucleosides, is described. It could be shown that the diastereoselectivity of the reaction can be tuned by a simple change of protecting groups. Copyright © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
