AbstractThis Case Study examines the impact of the "Two Concentration" Land Supply Policy on the Xiamen land market. Spanning from 2018 to 2022. The Case Study investigates the dynamic changes in Xiamen's land market both before and after the policy's implementation, specifically from 2020 to 2022. Particular attention is paid to the most representative part of Xiamen's land market, including commercial and residential lands. The methodology of this Case Study mixed with literature review, policy interpretation, and the processing and analysis of land market data. A focal analysis of data pre- and post-policy implementation from 2020 to 2022 is conducted to discern trend shifts. The findings reveal a pronounced U-shaped trend in the Xiamen land market, with the policy evidently influencing both the regional land market environment and the behavior of corporate users. Notably, the Case Study also points to limitations and challenges posed by the policy, leading to regional developmental disparities and potentially affecting market stability. Derived policy suggestions advocate for flexible adaptations to market changes, periodic evaluations of policy outcomes, and essential support for market user enterprises. Limitations of the Case Study include, but are not limited to, the completeness of data collection, geographical and temporal scope, and restrictions in methodology and policy interpretation. Nevertheless, this Case Study offers valuable insights into understanding the impact of the "Two Concentration" Land Supply Policy on the land market and provides empirically informed evidence for future policy-making in China.
