Abstract | Multidetector-row computed tomography (MDCT) is changing the spectrum of vascular imaging as a result of its fast image acquisition speed and spatial resolution. When coupled with high-quality three-dimensional (3-D) image representations, MDCT angiography effectively permits the evaluation of the abdominal visceral vasculature and is preferred to conventional angiography because of its noninvasiveness. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Milan. |
