Abstract | The purpose of this study is to analyze the text structure and relaxed expression of the discussion papers of the (Korean) Korean language education field. For this purpose, 50 discussion papers published by Korean language education and Korean language education societies were collected. And based on the moving node concept of genre analysis, the text structure of the discussion was identified, and what relaxed expressions were used in the discussion text, an academic text. As a result of the analysis, the discussion text consisted of about 3 mobile nodes, and the most representative mobile node structure was 'significance of research-question-thanks or expectations'. Next, various relaxation expressions were used in the discussion text. In particular, in the question stage of the discussion, the indirect expression of curiosity or want to hear an explanation was used more than the expression of asking a question or raising a problem directly in the form of a question. In addition, expressions expressing humility by referring to the lack of the panelists themselves were also observed. The above results show that the conference discussion paper has a unique text structure as a genre and that various relaxation expressions are used as academic texts. |
