AbstractThis session presents a Co-curricular Assessment (CoA) model in higher education to demonstrate a systematic way to collect evidence in co-curricular programmes to truly reflect students’ achievement to one of the graduate attributes, Teamwork skills, which is rarely evidenced in academic Outcomes Assessment (OA). This new framework is based on Biggs and Tang’s (2007) outcomes-based approach and Berry’s (2008) idea of integrated assessment approach. It further reinforces the alignment between assessment and other elements (including graduate attributes, learning outcomes, and teaching and learning activities). It is designed to overcome major challenges and obstacles of assessing learning outcomes in co-curricular programmes.
