AbstractThe social issues that young people are most concerned about are housing, material and spiritual life. Among them, houses bring heavy pressure and stifle development space. On the whole, housing is the most important issue for young people but the housing prices are completely out of their affordability. This research tries to find out the impact towards the young people who living in SDUs such as interpersonal relationship, health development, safety and security, life planning, social and political problem. According to the “Thematic Household Survey Report No.60”, there were a more notable change is that among persons living in SDUs, the percentage of those aged 25-44 increased from 38.6% in 2014 to 44% in 2015. As for other age groups, the changes were comparatively small. The research paper will study the situation or problems faced by young people and their views on their future by exploring both the effect towards the young people’s personal, social, political, life and development by SDU. By assessing the existing housing policy and the findings, this paper will finally make source to recommend how to improve the housing situation of couple family so as to reduce the influence of negative impacts.
