AbstractThe generation of high-power few-cycle laser pulses was investigated using a differentially pumped hollow-fiber pulse compressor. Laser pulses with 1.5-cycle, 0.3-TW output at 1 kHz were generated using positively chirped 33-fs laser pulses. © 2009 IEEE.
