AbstractChemistry transport models (CTM) and satellite observations are both important tools used to study the spatial distribution of air pollutants. NO2 is one particularly important air pollutant frequently the subject of pollution studies. A gridding algorithm was developed to derive more realistic distributions. This algorithm was tested mainly using simple test distributions. A more detailed discussion of the performance of model distributions is presented. The algorithm improves the distribution on a model grid. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the AWMA's 107th Annual Conference & Exhibition (Long Beach, CA 6/24-27/2014).
