| Abstract | 自成立之初，香港公益金一直秉承以「公益錢箱」的概念，統一籌募善款以百分之百全數用於資助香港福利服務，令受助機構可專注發展，這是公益金引以為傲的獨特運作模式。
2018年11月8日，公益金踏進知命之年。半世紀的光景，見證了一個非牟利慈善機構茁壯成長。
本書以口述歷史形式訪問了公益金創會者、捐款機構、善長仁翁、創會會員機構及公益金管理團隊等二十多位人士，編輯成二十多篇文章，再加上十一位公益金委員贈言，透過各人不同的回憶和展望 ，道出公益金五十年來與香港人攜手並肩，建設美好家園的故事。
公益金是香港人的集體回憶，本書是公益金首本歷史記載，期望能為香港公益慈善史補白填空，並希望藉此向公益金的支持者說聲「多謝」！ |
