AbstractOral Cancer is the tenth most common malignancy worldwide. According to Hong Kong Cancer Registry, around 300 new cases of oral cancer are diagnosed in Hong Kong every year, and more than 100 deaths occur annually. Early detection is the key to improve treatment outcome of this life-threatening tumour. This presentation will highlight the role of dentists in providing opportunistic screening of oral and maxillofacial malignancies.
