| Abstract | The noise characteristic of the fiber laser with single frequency operation is experimentally investigated. The prepositive optoelectronic feed-forward is used to suppress the intensity noise of the fiber laser. Selecting the best delay time and feed-forward gain, the intensity noise can be suppressed near to shot noise limit at any sideband frequency. The maximum noise reduction of 22 dB is obtained at 6.0 MHz. |
