AbstractAt the fluid boundary layer separation point, the mean shear stress drops to small value while its fluctuation increases dramatically. The design and fabrication method of the micro thermal shear stress sensor array, the methods of bias and filter circuits, and integrated the array on the NACA0012 typical aerofoil are presented. Through testing in low speed wind tunnel, the position of the fluid separation can be detected accurately and effectively.
