Abstract | At the boundary layer's separation point, the fluid velocity drops to small value and then increases dramatically. This paper presents a processing method of the sensor array output signal, to calculate the flow separation location. Based on this method, we can use 1D MEMS-based thermal anemometer array to detect the location of the separation point. Through analyzing the methods and combination of the low speed wind tunnel test data, the position of the separation point can be detected accurately. |
