AbstractMeasurements of ultrasonic attenuation and X‐ray powder diffraction are carried out for Tl 2 Ba 2 Ca 2 · Cu 3 O y . The results show ultrasonic attenuation peaks, lattice parameter stepping, and X‐ray diffraction intensity weakening in the two temperature ranges, 100 to 150 and 200 to 250 K.
