AbstractElectronic Raman scattering experiments were performed on underdoped single crystal La 1.85 Sr 0.15 CuO 4 (LSCO). The B 1g and B 2g spectra were obtained above and below T c and dynamic relaxations were calculated. The pair-breaking peaks have an unusual excitation energy dependence and low-energy behavior. The results indicate that something in LSCO is different from Y- and Bi-system. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
