| Abstract | The 'scientific method' that we were taught when we were at school looks really simple. You turn the handle and out comes the right answer. There is no room for opinions, beliefs, or values, and certainly no room for God. Like so many things we learned at school, however, the reality of how science actually works is rather more interesting. This talk unpacks how science is actually practiced. |
