Characteristics of human composition of colorectal adenoma

Abstract

OBJECTIVE The impact of human composition on colorectal adenoma is unknown right now.We compared human composition of colorectal adenoma patients and normal population to find the characteristics of human composition of colorectal adenoma.METHODS Totally 292 participants underwent screening colonoscopy were recruited in this study.BMI,waist and hip circumference were checked.Human composition were estimated by meaning of bioelectrical impedance analysis using a machine of Inbody 220(Biospace company,Korea).RESULTS Totally 158 participants recruited in adenoma group(AG)and 134 participants in normal group(NG).Mean waist circumference of AG was(83.3±10.4)cm,higher than that of NG which was(79.2±14.1)cm,P=0.015.Mean body fat rate of AG was(28.3±6.97)%,higher than that of NG which was(26.2±6.41)%,P=0.034.Mean waist-hip fat ratio of AG was0.91±0.065,higher than that of NG which was 0.88±0.059,P=0.024.For body fat rate,75.9% of AG patients is exceeding normal value,while that of NG was 59.7%,P=0.003.Exceeding waist-hip fat ratiol in AG was 68.4%,which was 56.7%in NG,P=0.041.CONCLUSION Patient of colorectal adenoma has a higher waist circumference,body fat rate and waist-hip fat raio.

目的人體組成對結直腸腺瘤發病的影響尚不明確。本研究應用生物電阻抗分析(bioelectrical impedance analysis,BIA)檢測結直腸腺瘤患者的人體組成,分析結直腸腺瘤的人體組成特點。方法回顧性分析2014-01-01-2015-06-01香港大學深圳醫院無癥狀行結腸鏡篩查的患者292例,依據腸鏡檢查及息肉病理結果分為結直腸腺瘤組158例和正常對照組134例。記錄吸煙、飲酒和藥物服用史等,測量身高、體質量、腰圍和臀圍;應用BIA檢測研究對象身體組成,比較結直腸腺瘤組與正常對照組在人體組成的差別,分析人體組成對結直腸腺瘤發病的影響。結果結直腸腺瘤組腰圍平均為(83.3±10.4)cm,高于正常對照組的(79.2±14.1)cm,P=0.015。在人體組成上,結直腸腺瘤組體脂率平均為(28.3±6.97)%,高于正常對照組的(26.2±6.41)%,P=0.034。結直腸腺瘤組腰臀脂肪比平均為0.91±0.065,正常對照組平均為0.88±0.059,P=0.024。結直腸腺瘤組患者體脂率超標的比例為75.9%,高于正常對照組的59.7%,P=0.003。結直腸腺瘤組腰臀脂肪比超標的比例為68.8%,正常對照組為56.7%,P=0.041。結論結直腸腺瘤患者腰圍增加,人體組成以體脂率和腰臀脂肪比升高為特征。
