AbstractThe differential diagnosis of heel pain is extensive. The plantar heel pain is usually due to mechanical etiology, including plantar fasciitis, calcaneal spur, stress fracture, and nerve entrapment. Tumor is a rare cause of plantar heel pain. We present a case of chronic plantar heel pain with a vascular leiomyoma at the heel pad.Levels of Evidence: Therapeutic, Level IV, Case study. © 2012 The Author(s).
